  Everyo
ne can DO SOMETHING...

Each in our own way inspires and tries to enhance the world for others in order to make that difference.  Remember - It is NOT necessary in the beginning to figure it all out - but to at least take that first step to try and "plant those seeds" of ideas - that could have potential to "spark" amazing possibilities.

Where could you start...

  • Model an Important Advocacy Area with an activity that is related to an important focus,
e.g. child abuse prevention, eating healthier, preserving the environment, enhancing creative thinking, etc.

  • Involve Diverse Participants in the activity designed (e.g. young and old, across neighborhoods or schools, inclusion of people with disabilities, or other groups who may be "forgotten" (i.e. homeless, homebound).

  • Experiment with creating Materials or Resources that support successful advocacy ideas or activities so they could be expanded to other communities.

  • Explore unique Partnerships (e.g. schools, colleges/universities, community, businesses, etc.) who can brainstorm possibilities or even lend that needed support (e.g. time, money).

Photo Workshop and Memory Tree

During the 2011-2019 period, our advocacy team worked on "planting seeds", exploring activities related to intergenerational educational and creative activities in the local community to determine what might work and could be sustained.  Many of the identified areas truly worked and "sparked" exciting future possibilities.
